National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)

With a deep, personal understanding of the mission, Aurie fills a strategic role on NMDP’s Board of Ambassadors.

NMDP, formally known as Be The Match, is an organization dedicated to saving lives through cell therapy and bone marrow transplantation.

At its core, the National Marrow Donor Program matches patients with blood cancers and disorders to donors. But more-so, NDMP is advancing research and the science behind cell therapy so that patients can find more perfect matches. And in the most meaningful way, NDMP supports patients and their families, physically, emotionally, and financially.

With a deep, personal understanding of the mission, Aurie fills a strategic role on NMDP’s Board of Ambassadors, supporting New York and the northeast region.

Aurie brings an outside strategic perspective to ensure messaging and experiences are audience-centric and grounded in best practices. Our work with the Board of Ambassadors includes support for the annual New York Gala, which raised $525,000 in 2025.

Aside from the Gala, which is the tentpole fundraising event in the northeast region, we show up in the community for corporate swabbing events and athletic races, like the 5 Boro Bike Tour (New Yorkers know this 40-mile ride is worth it!).

We also have a new event coming to the running circuit. Look for the inaugural NMDP Board of Ambassadors race in 2027.
