Harrison Public Library

Empowering a lean, mean library team to show up for its community, online, offline, and on their own terms.

Harrison Public Library has been a cornerstone of its community for 120 years, a place where people come to learn, connect, and belong. When the library's milestone anniversary arrived, it was the perfect moment to bring that same warmth and character into its digital presence.

Aurie came in during the 120th anniversary year to help the library find its footing online. We built the infrastructure, a social media content calendar, approval workflows, a centralized digital asset library, and a redesigned email newsletter through Mailchimp, so the team had everything they needed to show up consistently without it feeling overwhelming.

We developed content pillars and a newsletter format that feels personal and community driven, with a note from "The Director's Corner," upcoming events, and spotlights on the people who make the library what it is. The goal was to give the library the tools and the structure to express themselves online in a way that already felt true to who they are.

The team is now set up to run it themselves, with a framework that fits their workload, room to experiment, and the confidence to try new things and see what resonates with their community.

The result? Stronger engagement across social and email, more consistent storytelling, and a library that's showing up for its community, online and off, on their own terms.
